We Are

You’re different. It’s weird. I’m scared/hopeful.
I’m different. It’s not so weird. You are hopeful/scared.
But we verbally outlined. Verbally sketched. Verbally agreed.
We created a base. A guideline. We created understanding.
We’re free. We’re not fixed. We’re not defined.
It’s you. It’s me. It’s us.
But we are also not different. That’s why it not so weird.
We understand. We see the same things. We see things the same way.
We don’t force. We’re free. We try.
But most importantly we understand.
It’s you. It’s me. But we’re us.
We’re different together. But we’re not so weird for each other.
